HOW TO GET TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE IN NIGERIA

 A Tax Clearance Certificate is a document issued by the Federal Inland Revenue Service,

  stating that a Company has filed all relevant tax returns and paid all tax liabilities - Company

 Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Values added Tax (VAT) etc, and does not have any

 outstanding  tax for a period of time covered by the Certificate. The tax clearance is a

 certificate of clearance, indicating that an entity or individual  has been cleared for a period of

 time stated in the Certificate.

Tax clearance certificate is usually valid for a period of twelve months.
